Sire: Fleetwater Opposition won the Individual Gold Medal and Team Gold Medal at the Junior European Three Day Event when he was six years old. He was fourth in the Spillers Dressage and Jumping finals at Wembley. He went from Elementary to Advanced Dressage in two seasons where he excelled by winning or being placed in every competition he competed in up to Grand Prix. His sire Muschamp Danube was a prolific sire of successful Advanced event horses, showjumpers, dressage horse, and European Individual Medalist Driving Horses. Fleetwater Opposition's dam Opushka was an Elite Graded Trakehner from one of the worlds most famous and successful bloodlines, which can be traced back to the original Russian Stud Book. She was from the same family as the Olympic Silver Medallist Pepel and the Olympic showjumping stallion Almox Prints J. Opushka was the dam of Date Up, an international showjumping mare who won at the Pan American Games and was the Norwegian Showjumping Champion. Another one of her offspring was Fleetwater Oppidan, who won the Advanced class at Gatcombe Park Horse Trials; he is also a Grade B showjumper and Advanced Medium dressage horse. Fleetwater Opposition's most famouse progeny are Summer Song (Olympic, World Games, and European Three Day Event (3DE) bronze and silver medallist plus winner of the Compeigne International 3DE and leading competition horse in France 1996, 1998, and 1999; Swan Ryan (an Advanced event horse ridden by Australian Matt Ryan); Utopian Opposition (international showjumper and Grand Prix winner).
